Guys, Jim Hyde here and I have found a "painter" in Tucson AZ who I believe may well be an EXCELLENT source for having our V6 emblems refinished / repainted. Recently I had to have a couple of orig 1964 Corvette Fuel Injection emblems repainted. They were the orig pieces and the owner wanted these same pieces back but in like new condition. The Tucson guy is a Mechanical Engineer who put himself thru school painting cars and got to be very good at what is now a hobby. He did the Vette emblems and they turned out far better than expected and very much to the owner's delight. Right now he is working on my V6 emblems and I have asked him to take progressive photos that I can post on the site. Don't know what he will charge for a finished set but am sure the result will be beyond expectations. Will keep all posted.

Good to know. I have a set of OEM chrome one I stole off ebay, but also have a standard set that could use a repaint.
