3/4t GMC with 16" rims
Hello everybody,
maybe you can help me. Truck restoration is finished but I have problems licensing my 3/4 ton truck with 8 hole lug in Germany as a vintage truck. The technical officer from the German TÜV says that the 16x6.5 inch rims are not original. Original would be 17.5 inches. But if I can prove to him that 16-inch rims with 8 holes were also installed at the time (1960-66) on a 3/4ton truck, he will grant me vintage car status. Does anyone have any information or maybe even a sales brochure where 16 inches where mounted? I only found the list from 1960HDGMC where 17.5 inches as stock wheels are listed. Everything helps. The more paperwork the better here with us in our country :D https://6066gmcclub.com/showthread.php?t=48503 https://up.picr.de/45856694yt.jpg https://up.picr.de/45856696qa.jpg Many greetings |

Here is reference from a 1962 maintenance manual (see attachment). This manual is also a supplement for 1963 & 1964. Hope this help.
