Anyone have a picture of a Deluxe 60 or 61 seat?
Not to be confused with the term "Custom", Deluxe trucks were what I call "plain janes" and were largely no chrome and no option type work trucks. I am looking for a picture of a 60-61 GMC Deluxe seat which would be simple vinyl only with a heat pressed design maybe but no fabric.
Also curious if anyone might be hoarding one of these seats in exceptional uncut condition out of a Fire Truck or other low mileage truck too? let me know if such could be bought if so. Lastly, I am likely going to need some of the grey knobbed interior cables and heater control knobs or at least that "HEAT" grey knob that's always broke off. Let me know what you may be hoarding in that stuff too |

i have seen the brochure drawings of those all vinyl plain Jane Deluxe seats but, in all my searching, have yet to find a photo of one. The brochure mentions a darker tone vinyl for the edges and sides.
They all must be hidden under those truck blankets we often see. |

GMCNUT, My '63 GMC has the factory original vinyl seat covers in two tone. Light fawn on the seat and seat back. Dark gray on the edges and bottom. PM me if you want me to send to your cell phone. kknotts

Thanks guys - I have a 62 seat but assume the pattern embossed might change between 60-62 so probably not the same as 60-61 as 62-63.

Perhaps I am mistaken but the term “custom” wasn’t used till 1962? Anyway here are some picks of my ‘60 deluxe seat which I believe to be unmolested but in rough shape. Hope to roll the truck out in a couple weeks for an exhaust system at which point I can take better pics if you would like?
