Inherited 1960 GMC
My grandfather died recently and left me a 1960 GMC truck. He is the original owner and it has 100,000 original miles. I want to pay my aunts fair market value for the truck since they could all use the money and I think it would make the fact that he left the truck to me easier on them. The problem is I have no idea how much it is worth. Any ideas of how to determine the value?

Condition, condition, condition... Why don't you post up some pictures of the outside, inside and engine and we might be able to give you a better idea. Hope that helps... Regards Steve New Orleans |

I am working I’m getting more pictures. My aunt is being pretty protective so I am taking it easy. I will post more when I get them. It is in fair condition. It hasn’t been restored but it has been well taken care of. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Kelley Blue Book or NADA or Edmund's are all on -line auto/truck pricing guides. You are able to pick the condition you think the vehicle is in, and enter mileage, options, and the area of the country the vehicle is in by zip code. I've traded cars and used Kelley Blue Book value to determine the deal, all I did was make sure the dealer included ALL the options my trade-in had.
