Engine Stands
 

Hi Everyone,

I'm disassembling my '63, and need to buy an engine stand to mount the engine on. Any recommendations for brand/model? Looking online, JEGS Model 80042 looks pretty good. http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performan...80042/10002/-1

Would appreciate any advice.

Looks pretty good. If I remember right the motor is only 800 lbs or so. 1000lb might work, but 2k is probably better just in case. Harbor frieght has one that folds up when you're not using it. That's the one I'd shoot for because of the 20% off they offer and I don't have much storage room.

Fetch, thanks. The Harbor Freight one looks like the same as the JEGS. Same price, different brand name. I'm guessing both made in China. Go figure.
