My machinist just called. He's putting the heads back together and has 6 'cams' with the valves. His question is, do those go to the exhaust or intake valves?
My response is "uhhhh, what now?" I told him I'd go back and look at pictures/video of the disassembly but realized that it was the previous machine shop that retired 4 years ago now, that took the heads apart. Anyone have any idea what the answer to his question is? |

Greetings!! I've never heard of "valve cams." He may be referring to valve rotators which are installed on the exhaust valves only. |
