The factory wheels are long gone and the truck currently has 235/75R-15 tires mounted on white wagon wheels. The tires have seen better days and are over 10 years old, so they need to be replaced.
The truck will only be driven occasionally and not used to tow or carry heavy loads. The truck is a 1965 GMC half ton 2wd with the 305 V6 and manual transmission. Currently it has tires on it with a load rating of 990kg (~2178 lb) @ 50 psi max. I have also taken a pic of the construction information. So, what other information do I need to consider? Are 6 ply tires (load range C 1820-2470 lbs) acceptable? Any information would be much appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by millspec; Yesterday at 10:32 PM. |
