Yes there is, I bought one from the truckandcarshop.com and it fits 1960-72 applications. There are other vendors that also carry it.

I tried that forum page from Jolly Fetch, and what I got was a good run down on Master Cylinder repair. So, if I understand Mr. GMCNUT correctly, he is looking for a picture or part number for an accordion style shifter boot for the SM420?? I'd like to know about that also. Tks. Foley

I think he is talking about the boot that is on the bell housing similar to this junk one from a '64 Chevy pickup that had an SM420. The clutch fork protrudes through it.

Sorry GMCNut, I read your question wrong. Actually its one of those times where you read something, understand it, then when you go looking for an answer you get sidetracked and when you find something else and you think, Oh there it is!
Kinda like looking for your car keys but running across your lost false teeth and saying, "There they are!" Then you feel that sense of accomplishment so you move to the next thing. Alzheimers is gettin me early! ![]() I went back and looked for a fork boot and found out that classicparts.com used to carry it in 2003 as part number 90-526 but they don't show it as a good part number now. You might call and see if it was changed.

I thought the fit (of LMC part) was poor - but perhaps you will have better luck.

Crap - Andice that worries me now that you say that. So has anyone bought a repro that fits good lately, or does anyone have a real good used one?
