Doing a swap to a Holley 4412 500cfm. I'm changing from the rod linkage to a 71-72 pedal and cable setup because I'll be changing to a 700r4 soon.
What throttle bracket did you use? Pictures please. |

Here is the linkage for the TH700R4 cable:

I too am planning on doing this swap (don't know when) but I did notice the bore size in my intake is smaller than the 4412 throttle bore. I am going to enlarge the intake bore to match the 4412 throttle bore (if I didn't do this it would be like running a restrictor plate like Nascar has done).

Most of the 4 barrels brackets for a Model 4150/4160 will work with the 4412.

Thank you
I ordered a 24" throttle cable and it is too long. The Holley 20-95 bracket places the throttle bracket too close to the throttle are on the carb. I scribed the opening of the adapter plate on the manifold and used a carbide die grinder to match the opening size. |

You can't cut the cable to length? When I got my lokar throttle cable I cut the housing back and then cut the wire to the length I needed with an air cutter.

![]() TJ, I stand corrected. I decided I was going to try cutting my cable so i started trying to get the firewall side of the fitting removed. Low and behold it is not completely bonded, as I thought. I was able to get the fitting loose. I cut the crimped stops off and shortened the cable. once I get the cable and carb fully installed I going to epoxy the fitting permanently in place. Will post some pictures tomorrow |
