From Hemmings yesterday:
"A more typical cabover engine choice might be the GMC Twin Six V-12 of the 1960s, one of the last attempts to wring as much power out of gasoline engine packaging for big trucks before the era of diesel took over. Mac’s Motor City Garage has more on the unusual engine." http://www.macsmotorcitygarage.com/2...ubic-inch-v12/ Some of the comments below the article aren't too complimentary. Several good ones though, especially the one at the bottom from Zorba.

Good article, I am trying to learn as much as can about the 702. Do you know why the fan blades are not spaced evenly on the v12. Bob

Bunch of idiots in the comment section, but some who actually saw the light. Love that last comment though.

I have seen a lot of info that 702 was made from 60-65, this article says it was made until 67, does anyone have any input. I have 702's with intakes dated 67, but exhaust manifolds and vin numbers point to 1964.

many fan blades are unevenly spaced. this is so the air doesn't cavitate, letting the blade get a bigger bite of air.
