I installed power steering on my 61 GMC stepside. Put the belt on added fluid and took it for a test ride. It felt like I had a little power steering but not what it should be. Any ideas? I must have missed something.

Air in the system or belt not tight enough?

You were right. Air was in the system. I'm a green horn at this so I sure appreciate it.

This ended up being a bad new pump plus I did have a little air in system. My power steering is awesome now. Thanks for all the help!!!
