Hey guys! I was winterizing Cecilia and when I filled her back up with antifreeze I noticed a seep right here at this little hose connection over the water pump.
Is there anything special about it? Is it OK if I just buy a small length of radiator hose and replace it or is it some fancy ultra heat resistant hose of doom? Also, what's the best way to get it mashed back in there? ![]()

It is a special hose, called straight hose. NAPA carries this type of hose, you'll probably have to buy it in about a 12 inch length but no big deal because there will be plenty left over for when it comes time to change it again.

When I read this post, I thought of that trick I'd seen here but did not remember where. Don't have to take anything apart, What a cool idea. Good job Tex.

I believe it’s 1 1/8; Here’s a photo of the crossover unit section. I like how they changed it without removing the crossover section per the photo album.
Here’s a link to that size hose although as mentioned before; it’s quite a bit longer. Just got this example and the partial part number from the album previously mentioned as well. Look right? https://www.anythingtruck.com/product/292-5515125.html
