Ladies and Gentlemen:
I was fortunate enough to come across a 1967 351e Power Steering bracket that I plan to use on my new motor. The upper bracket has a 90 degree bend on it and the remnants of a weld that looks like someone foogaboo'ed it. Shouldn't this bracket be straight at the end with the 3/8" hole and bolt on the water pump housing where I show it in the second picture? Thanks for any advice you can offer. Regards, Steve PS The 351e also donated its spin on oil filter bracket for my new motor. Can you spell S*C *O *R *E? |

Steve, I have the same bracket for my 68 that I bought about 8 years ago from a member of the site that is unfortunately no longer with us. I'll tell you the 67-69 V6 Power steering bracket is a real crude device, specially when you look at what was offered prior to that. Your bracket looks like it's broken in two pieces as well as having another piece welded to it. What I need to do is send you a pic of the one I have, right now my phone camera is not working but give me a few days and I'll gets some pics to you.

That would be great. Thanks for your help. I know these don't come around too often, so I jumped on it. Regards, Steve |
