I just recently purchased a 1961 GMC4000 with a dual diaphragm power booster and need to rebuild it but haven't been able to find a source for parts. Any Ideas? Thanks, Dave

Finding parts for a rebuild will probably be difficult. Check Hemmings Motor News online in the Services Offered section for rebuilders of power brake boosters. Will likely be very costly if anyone can rebuild that particular unit.
Best of luck. Maybe someone else has more helpful advice? |

be-bop, were you able to come up with anything on the booster rebuild? I have a 65 GMC 3000, it has a brake booster mounted under the cab with a second master plunger. I’ve seen similar ones for sale for big fords, but I’m not finding anything specific to the GMC. Wondering if you have any info. Thanks.

rebuilders like Precision Rebuilders or Cardone can take your old unit and rebuild it to like new operation. I personally would not personally rebuild any power brake booster due to the liability for the operation and function of the part.
