After 8 yrs in a shed this is what I have done so far to get it roadworthy. First drained and flushed the gas tank, new hoses fuel filters, fuel pump, carb kit. Plugs, points, cap, condenser, rotor, wires, temp sender, thermostat, fan belt.Going to do the coolant hoses, water pump, and radiator over winter. Went through the brakes linings, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, hoses, lines, springs, turned drums, wheel seals, packed bearings.Resealed differential cover, rear seal on transmission, new gear lube in both, new clutch slave cylinder.Dimmer switch, wiper blades,4 new tires, all 4 shocks,Valve cover gaskets, set the valves, dwell and timing.Oh and a radio antenna and cleaned light sockets and replaced bulbs. Next week I am doing the windshield seal and replacing the chevy tailgate with a GMC one. It should be ready to go anywhere without much worry very soon. It is a lot of work but I think it's worth it. The truck runs and drives Very well,I'm really liking it.
