I pulled the sliding window unit out of my 64 suburban today and the bottom channel is rusted out. Does anyone make the metal channel or do I need to have it fabricated? Bob

I have repaired 55-59 side window channels by using various aluminum channel material. Riveted. Most of it is hidden. Don't think it's available in the aftermarket. It can be fabricated by someone with the proper tools. Donor channel can be found but will take a while to find. If the bottoms of the donor are also rusted, maybe you can use the top if it is the same configuration......and butt weld together.
