utoman, After having the heating problems a engine shop helped me last year. we discovered I had no advance in my distributer. It was welded like race cars do I guess. So he advanced it bunch some how. It ran cooler in 80+temp. I don't know what at timing before you ask. He adjusted it at the meter that I don't understand. It may start harder now he said. I have my 3rd custom radiator now. The widest and tallest I can fit. It is 4 core and double pass. That is with the 2 biggest volume air fans I can fit. I also ended up with a 2:73 rear end that goes 70-75 mph at little over 1200rpm that helps.
