That is the only trouble I have had with them. I suppose discs might have helped.

I also have the center mounted driveshaft emergency/parking brake. Is that unusual in a 1960 3/4?
Hello Jim,
Both my wife and I have driven the truck. We like it and enjoy the nostalgic experience. This truck will most likely not have a trailer hooked up to it or anything heavier than my two Troy Bilt tillers on the bed. I mention that because that’s all I’ve ever “hauled” with it so far. This truck will be a driveway queen.

I can’t speak to the center mounted parking brake handle. One other member mentioned something about it previously in this thread.
