Default Re: 1964 GMC 1000 Fleetside

Well, thought I had all the blinker shenanigans worked out, but yesterday I had another odd problem. I drove Rusty to work, which is about 35 minutes. All blinkers were working fine until a few minutes before I arrived, then they quit working. at least brake lights still worked. I assumed something came loose, so didn't think to much about it for the rest of the day.

Then, I got in the truck to go home. Tested the blinkers and all was working properly again. Ok?? So headed on home. Then, a few minutes before I got home, they quit working again.

So, could the flasher relay or some other component be getting hot and failing after about 30 minutes of driving? I would think if it was grounding or another loose wire issue that it wouldn't have recovered like it did while I was at work.

Any thoughts? All feedback is welcome.
