I got a 66 1500 with the 305E that I’ve owned for 7 years. Converted front end to 87 suburban for disc brake. Swamped out the 4.56 for a 2.73 gear. Running the Holley 500 with the pertronix. I running down the interstate at 75 MPH getting 14.4 MPG. I just purchased a 351M with the 3 grove and factory A/C bracket, also have a spare 305A. I’m lucky enough to own 2 pairs of plaid valve cover. I know a little about these motors but still have a lot to learn.
