Re: 1960 GMC Vin Cant Be Found
The VIN is located on a metal plate attached to the drivers side inner kick panel - so if you stick your head in the drivers floorboard area and look left, you should see it. If this plate is gone, then that is when you would need to procure a replacement from a donor out of a junkyard and attach it to register the truck for a title. At that point the truck takes on the identity of the truck you removed the VIN plate from if that makes sense. Some states will issue you a new VIN for a vehicle that does not have one - this is the simplest and most correct way to save it I suppose.
