Hi
Having a hard time locking down a replacement bell crank for the transmission linkage on my 64 350e c1500 It not the “bent” version just straight tube as per the attached pic |

Re: Bell crank
Weld it
|
Re: Bell crank
Would if I could but the end of the tube would require some machining as well
Beyond my capabilities but a good last choice if I can’t get a replacement . |
Re: Bell crank
If you have a welder or know a welder, then post pics of all angles of the break and I will help you. I doubt if any "machining" is required. (from the limited amount of informational pics so far.)
Is the whole issue the break I see? Explain the entire issue as you see it. I realize you are just looking for a donor bell crank. It may be hard to find, so plan B is worth some consideration in the mean time. Up to you. |
Re: Bell crank
From Rustbucket himself: If you need parts you can text me at (619) 502-0043 (text only please) or email me at paddempsey@gmail.com
Hope this helps. |
Re: Bell crank
Possibly same as 1964
https://www.ebay.com/itm/30662715459...Condition=3000 or......https://www.ebay.com/itm/26748300657...Condition=3000 Sometimes sellers say Chevy/GMC when they pull it of a GMC and sometimes they pulled it off a Chevy. If they are not the same, they don't know it. I don't either. Compare pics/ask seller. |
