Re: 60-62 upper radiator hose
Thanks for that information. Looks much better than the universal accordion type. Another hose which can be trimmed to fit is NAPA #9908.
Man you really made that engine compartment look beautiful, including that nice yellow throttle return spring! Small details make a big difference. |
Re: 60-62 upper radiator hose
my old hose was the napa one but it had too much of a dip in it ,thanks for the complement it's the little things that make it stand out, like my fuel line! can't wait to see what people think of the covers at the car show

Thanks, I was in the process of looking for just that. Also do not like the universal ribbed ones. That engine compartment is looking good! :welldone: Dave

Re: 60-62 upper radiator hose
Looks like you used NiCopp (nickel copper alloy tubing) to make your fuel line.
I have used it to make brake and fuel lines and it works well. Sometimes I fill the tube with sand or glass beads to make sharp bends. Also smart that you didn't use any rubber hose as fuel line to the carb. I have heard of more than one engine fire caused by a hose or clamp letting go. |
