Notes: This month was a very busy month for the 6066 GMC Club. We successfully moved to a new, more powerful server to accommodate our growing member base and the many, many guest views of pictures we serve each month. Fortunately due to the pace of technology we were able to procure our new server for only $4.28 more than our previous server, however it was necessary to cover both servers for 1 month while the transfer and testing was completed. Next month our web costs will return to normal. Additionally, we have installed several new, open source safety features to prevent member data loss with upgrades to our firewall and web software.

Finally we were able to acquire the old domain name 6066gmcguy.org when it was released by the previous domain squatter on June 27, 2014. The address now funnels users to the club website as it should. The domain is now locked and set to renew automatically for eternity, ensuring that we do not lose the address again.
